What We Do
Potencia trains the next-generation leaders - college students, high school students, and young professionals - as volunteer English tutors for adult immigrants in their communities.

The Problem
95% of adult English language learning needs nationwide are not met by the existing services.
Adult immigrants find it difficult to access classes tailored to their learning needs, work schedules, and budgets.
Tailored Learning
Learners can take individual tutoring sessions tailored to their learning needs, schedules, and budgets.
Chapter Model
We establish chapters at schools and businesses to bring tutors together and create a community of change-makers.
